WCIIAA SCHOLARSHIP AWARD - 2012

TO ALL MEMBER AGENTS & APPLICANTS:

Enclosed, please find an application for a $2,000 scholarship to be awarded to a WCIIAA Member, employee, employee's child or grandchild for the Fall of 2012. Associate Members are not eligible. Eligible students are those seeking to attend or are currently attending, full time, an accredited institution of higher learning post high school or equivalent for 2 to 4 years or graduate school. Prior applicants are welcomed to reapply.

This scholarship is merit based.

The application deadline is April 15th, 2012. The Scholarship Committee will make its recommendation to the WCIIAA Board of Directors at their May, 2012, monthly meeting at which time the grant will be voted upon. The grant recipient will be formally announced and awarded at a WCIIAA meeting held in June, 2012.

Payment is to be made directly to the Grantee by the Treasurer within fourteen days after submission of proof that the Grantee has successfully completed the first semester following the award.

Only fully completed applications with transcripts and essays will be considered for this award. All applications must be received at the enclosed address by the deadline noted above and on the application itself.

DEADLINE: APRIL 15, 2012

Jessica DiPilato is a 2011 graduate from Holy Name High School, she is now attending Assumption College in her freshman year. She is undecided on her major at this time but is leaning toward education/special needs. She played Varsity softball for Holy Name since the 8th grade. She is now playing softball for Assumption College and will be leaving for Florida on March 1st to start their softball season.
