Dear (WCIIAA) Worcester County Independent Insurance Agents Association Members,
I hope that you are all enjoying the wonderful New England summer that 2006 has delivered. With such a great summer it is sometimes difficult to focus our attention on the important challenges that independent insurance agents continue to face, in the Commonwealth, as well as across the country. We are sometimes at the mercy of legislators, sometimes insurance carriers, and sometimes the bad weather, or worse yet simply the possibility of bad weather. As independent business people and agents we need to remain proactive in our efforts to improve the landscape of our industry. We cannot afford to be reactionary and respond only in the time of crisis. By remaining organized and informed we increase our odds of positively impacting change that is inevitable.
As the president of WCIIAA I would like to thank all of you for your support and attendance at our meetings. I am looking forward to another successful year.
